By creators, for creators

We've been on both sides of the tip jar. TipTap exists because supporting the people who make the internet worth scrolling should take seconds — not a scavenger hunt.

Our story

Getting paid shouldn't be the hard part

There are more than 207 million creators in the world, and most of them are undermonetized. Over half of the creators who earn anything at all make less than $15K a year. It's not because fans don't want to support them — it's because the moment of generosity dies somewhere between the post and the payment.

We started TipTap with a simple conviction: the support should live where the content lives. Not behind a link in bio, not on a separate platform with its own login, not in a DM. Right there, one tap away, in the share sheet fans already use every day.

Today TipTap is a working prototype that recognizes a creator and their content straight from the native share action and routes fans to a tip or purchase in seconds. Next up: our first creator cohort, more payment rails, and a recognition engine that spans every major platform.

What we believe

Our operating principles

🫶

Creators keep the value

87% of every tip goes to the creator. We win when creators win — never the other way around.

🪶

Friction is the enemy

Every tap we remove between a fan and a creator is money that would otherwise be left on the table.

🌍

Every platform, one home

Creators shouldn't rebuild an audience to get paid. TipTap goes where the audience already is.
